Holga!
My first roll of Holga photos turned out to be mostly a failure. These are pretty much the only barely usable photos that came out of a 36 exposure roll of self-roll, colour single perforated really old film. Everything was underexposed cuz the film was only 160 ISO and the Holga shoots at a pretty small aperature of 8 or 11. I kind like them but hopefully I'll have better and more results with a higher speed film next round. Holga cameras are a cheap Chinese camera made entirely out of plastic, the lens too. They are famous for having light leaks and doing unexpected things.

Fishy Business
new thing in union lane
Yesterday was a really sunny day so I ran away from studio for an hour or two to paint this little picture in union lane. First time ever doing some real time freehand spraying (the oil-rig). Some kiwi fella named city went into my little window frame and pushed me out into new territory. I had to go over some sexy pirate but I left her face hanging in the sky, because I guess I just have a thing for pirates. I feel like the picture I am trying to paint isn't clear enough without dollar dollar bills flying out of Mr. businessman's briefcase but I didn't have any green paint. Maybe I will go and retroactively add them bills.
Miss you friends.

Outlawed Owls
I had to take this post off due to some ''heat'' with my thankfully, x-landlord, who is a horrible horrible person and is going to rot in hell. So since efterblivet is lacking these days here's some filler till we get started again:
This is the new Nuit Blanche motivated silk screen-wheat paste experiment and this the first installation of wheat pasting. We want to wheat paste them all over the city. We have 713 colour owls and at least another 300 just black line drawing owls. We're going for coverage with numbers.

Sticky
Hello efterblivets!
There is an amazing zine co-op here in Melbourne called Sticky.
They are located right in the heart of Melbourne and every time you walk in there, you are greeted by some sexy vagrants hanging around punching buttons -- go there : right across the street from Flinders Station, downstairs into the underground station.

Melbourne Alleyways
The little alleyways in Melbourne are plenty. And you can find all sorts of excitement here.
Theres a range from spiffy ones with cafes and don don shops, and dingy ones full of trash-bins and dumpsters. Somewhere among these is this one:

POST 100!!!
My most successful screen print to date. 5 layers, 3 stencils, magical gloss.
Some of the detail created by the gloss is lost in the scan. It's much more magical in hard copy.

Black Out
These are complementary photos to my White Out series for my final photo project. The scans were really bad so I had to fuck around with them a little on photoshop for them to look more like the original prints. Obviously the originals look way better.

Time Stealers
This is inspired by the children's book, Momo by Michael Ende (the author of The Never Ending Story). In the book, this town is taken over by these men in gray, entirely gray, from skin to cigar. The people of the town don't notice them but they steal all their time and turn the village people into mindless drones who don't enjoy life at all. The only person who is resistant to them is Momo and she obviously saves the day. This was a test, and it worked really well, so I'm gonna print out more of them and make really long strings of them down some streets. I was gonna screen print it but I digitally printed it as an excuse for a project for my digital print class. Digital print is such a cop out, it was so easy!
