FINALLY! Finished my BOX. Its supposed to be what it was like to be in the belly of a glacier, looking out. This is a screen print on Glass and Plexi, in wood.

This is a poster I made last semester, its loosely based on my uncle Andy who was part of a motorcycle gang/the carny community(he had a sweet side show with shrunken heads) in the U.S. screen print.
This is my latest attempt at silk screening. This is actually version two. In the first version I hated my colour choices so much I cut it up into business cards. I redid the whole thing but I still kinda hate the result. Obviously I don't hate it enough not to post it, so here it is. It was actually supposed to be a triptych but I'm so frustrated with it that I give up for now. I included a couple of variations with less layers because I do really like the line drawing. The pile of keys is a photoshop masterpiece, by the way. I just need to work on how to compose it as a finished piece. I'm open to suggestions in case I'm ever crazy enough to go for attempt three (and the triptych).
After a long hiatus I finally slapped together a little stencil/drip spray paint number on a half finished window that was sitting around my place.
It felt good.front
I'm going to donate it 52 McCaul where they are having a 20$ show (from many local artists) on Friday evening. Proceeds are going to WellandGood so they can run this awesome space for what I would call non-elitist art. Friday evening! 52 McCaul Be there.
