This was my much anticipated holiday project that met a sad sad end. It fell down in my hallway where I had temporarily placed it and shattered in one corner. I was going to work on it more, I was thinking about adding in some fluorescent spray paint, but now I feel a little sad and discouraged.

Revisiting Nowhereland
I remember a quote from Banksy saying "don't put up stencil in places where people still look up in the sky and point at airplanes". Well I put up these stencils in a small town (Samobor) in Croatia anyway, just because I had nothing better to do on Christmas Day. And jolly good fun it was. Someone has to tag up the Balkan countryside. WheelofFortune girl for size comparison

She's Come Undone
This is my newest silk screen for school. I decided to suck it up and try out ''nice'' paper but I kinda like the manilla copy better. I made a couple on ''shitty paper'' so I can wheat paste them in the spring. I'm having trouble with backgrounds lately so I made tons of copies of this piece (26) and I'm gonna experiment with them. These and some more of my stuff is actually in the VA Building Gallery at Concordia for the 50/50 Print Sale and I actually sold two copies of these today!

Key Disaster
This is my latest attempt at silk screening. This is actually version two. In the first version I hated my colour choices so much I cut it up into business cards. I redid the whole thing but I still kinda hate the result. Obviously I don't hate it enough not to post it, so here it is. It was actually supposed to be a triptych but I'm so frustrated with it that I give up for now. I included a couple of variations with less layers because I do really like the line drawing. The pile of keys is a photoshop masterpiece, by the way. I just need to work on how to compose it as a finished piece. I'm open to suggestions in case I'm ever crazy enough to go for attempt three (and the triptych).
Spaceman is Back
What with everyone stressing out about exams and school all around me,
I have decided to finish that project I started last December in Berlin.
I was going to make 26 Spacemen, but I only got to 18. So here they are:

Gaia in the Desert
I just got back from Burning Man, and the above is what I shared with the insane weirdos that inhabit that god forsaken, sun baked, and wind ravaged piece of earth. The theme of the festival was evolution. My take on that was to mimic the evolution of poster layering as seen on our city streets. I also meant Gaia to be holding a pictorial representation of evolution in each one of her hands. Unfortunately, booze, the sun, and shiny things all worked to distract me from completing the piece. I brought it home with me though, so sometime soon it'll make another appearance in a new incarnation.

Caterpillar Carnage
Two anonymous Montreal members of the group finally poked in their little heads on us in Toronto. They got us so excited, we moistened our panties, then took up some rollers and painted a large catepillar on this enormous billboard advertisement for a cashmoney bank. The caterpillar then scrambled for the nearby leafy valley and disappeared forever. Or has it?
